Recorded mostly June 7-10, 2007 on microcassette in Gainesville, Tampa, Palmetto, and Sarasota, Florida. "This album was recorded in response to an irrationally perceived challenge in Hal McGee's announcement that he would be recording on microcassette an album to be named [r=996350] in the vein of his recent [r=976516] during the weekend of Tampa Noise Fest. I quickly announced that I too would be recording on microcassette an album to be named "Magnetic Personality" in the vein of his recent [r=976516] during the weekend of Tampa Noise Fest. Self-imposed "rules" were stretched and redrawn by us both in order to benefit the greater good while keeping to the overall spirit. In my case, further editing was done after this weekend, including using the microcassette of Hal's version as source material to cut in with and manipulate."
