Composition 3, Volume 1

"Composition 3 was written in 2004 by Charles Rice Goff III. The tracks included on this CD are the first documentations, recorded in 2004. Each of these was created by a solo performer with multitrack recorder. Per the intentions of the author, each version exhibits a uniqueness based on the inclusion of a variety of random elements. Continuity among the versions is exhibited through a number of parameters that regulate these random elements. The full score of Composition 3 is included with the CD and is also available on the internet. The author intends to release more compilations of Composition 3 in the future and encourages all adventurous explorers of sounds and ideas to execute and send recordings. The author also encourages live performances of Composition 3 and invites recordings of such to be sent for future CD distribution."
