Recorded at Bearsville Sound (Bearsville, NY). Additional recording & mixing at River Sound (NY, NY). Engineering on "Demo-Intro" to "Left Coast Groovies" at Telstar Studios (Sarasota, FL). Mastered at Masterdisk (NY, NY). "All the music on this record, including the guitar solos, was recorded "live" to analog tape with the exception of the additional rhythm guitars added to tracks 3, 4, 5, 9 & 12; the harp, rhythm guitar and 12 string bass added to track 11; and the harp on track 7. Early copies comes with rectangular yellow sticker on shrink-wrap "Contains the hit singles Monkey Hill, Temporary Saint & Mule". Later copies had a red sticker with just the three titles.
