Bootleg was a subsidiary of the Australian label Fable Records, which in the early 1970’s was the leading Australian independent recording label. Brian Cadd was Bootleg’s incredible driving force – he co-founded the Bootleg label, appears on three of the six artist recordings, and was also a producer, so this compilation is a fantastic overview of the label.
