We're Only In It For The Money

'Facsimile Bootleg' (please see the original submission notes for a link with more details) of the 1972 ('Howards Printers') repress of this album. Country of origin is set to Italy as many if not all of those 'Facsimile Bootlegs' seem to come from there (again, see link in submission notes). Factors that led to the identification of this release as a counterfeit: - Reproduction of cover artwork is faded and unsharp, as if photomechanically copied; - Matrix numbers are hand-etched, but European Polydor/Verve matrix numbers at that time were always punched; - Matrix numbers appear to have been chosen to emulate a US Verve release number scheme, but are not connected to the release; - Sound quality is lower than that of official pressings (dubbed from a well-played record, some audible tape drop-outs); - Songs on the album are not separated by track division bands. Contrary to other 'facsimile bootlegs' of this album, the only tracks to have had bits censored on this particular edition are "Harry, You're A Beast" and "Mother People"; furthermore, the line whispered by Gary Kellgren about the Velvet Underground appears to have been cut as well.
