Haunt Box

"the haunt box was hand built by mister ugly. it has four analog square waves oscillators being fed into an exposed spring reverb tank. the controls consist of four unmarked knobs, each one controlling the pitch of one oscillator, as well as a group of bypass switches. the controls are not precise. the oscillators are not tuned. the reverb tank picks up room noise, and can be jostled. this is not an instrument for the faint of heart. if you ask nicely, mister ugly might make you one: mruglysinstruments.blogspot.com both sides of this cassette were recorded in one take on december 9th, 2009, with no post production work, using only the haunt box. this is a mono instrument. this is a mono recording. part 1 of the drone test series. limited to 20 copies."
