Kronos Records The Gold Collection is proud to present the soundtrack CD of L'ULTIMA VIOLENZA, a 1957 Italian melodramatic film produced and directed by Raffaello Matarazzo and starring Yvonne Sanson. Andrea, the new medical officer in town, falls in love with Lisa, daughter of engineer Carani, wealthy landowner in the area. Lisa has a younger sister, Anna, and a brother, Giorgio, who lives in the city. Giorgio's dissipated way of life, cynism and unscrupulousness grieve the engineer, impacting negatively on his already precarious health. One day determined to provoke a real scandal, Giorgio reveals to Anna that he discovered Lisa is not their blood sister. L’Ultima Violenza is a purely golden age romantic score with a sound that says Made in Italy. Crafted by one of the most sensible and eclectic composers of the era, MARIO NASCIMBENE, composer of LA GARCONNIERE, THE VIKINGS, SOLOMON AND SHEBA and BARABBAS to name a few.
