Inner Panels: The fifth Merry6mas A selection of outtakes and rehearsals recorded during 2002 and 2003. Track 1 was improvised over a loop and recorded late 2002. Track 2 - another improvised sketch, is named after a subway station on the outskirts of Boston where we caught a train during our 2001 vacation. Track 3 is one of five mixes of this '[r=148084]' outtake. Track 4 is currently unrecorded - apart from this live rehearsal take. From the same rehearsal comes track 5, written for a 2003 gallery show by Dry Stone artist Ian Boyle, the original 30min track was not used but a version was worked out for the opening of Ian's Tobhta Shelter. All the percussion sounds are sampled from the sound of Ian's work and environment. Track 6 is another track that didn't quite make it to [r=148084], as is track 7, which was performed live in early 2003. Track 8 is another improvised track, playing with a new looping pedal.
