Finland band's 3rd demo from 1989, released here in a limited # of only 100 copies. Adds a 6th song where the end is cut. The mental landscape of young men in post-industrial coastal town as raw and innocent. This is on a 4-panel paper j-card with band writing and art of themselves and both incorrect and correct song sequences listed (correct is hand-written on inside of j-card and adds an incomplete 6th song where the very end is cut when side B ends) The influence of the big four of thrash and speed metal is self-evident, but remember also Death Angel, Testament, Overkill, Nuclear Assault, Exodus, Flotsam and Jetsam, Mekong Delta, Voivod, Vendetta and of course Finnish Stone, just to mention a few. And Syndicate is all that, but still something different - energetic song writing, harsh but melodic, killer riffs, distressed lyrics. Originally distributed as hand to hand cassette, Ektro releases faithfully to the spirit of the band's 2nd and 3rd (of 3) demos "Under the Dust" and "New Messiah" from the years 1988 and 1989 as identical cassette copies with original hand drawn covers.
