This set reissues [url=http://www.discogs.com/Roland-Kayn-Tektra/release/853412]the 6-LP box set from 1984[/url] and was mastered off the original archive tapes. Discs are packaged in plain white sleeves inside a printed, letter-pressed and embossed box along with an insert and 12-page booklet. From the text: "Tektra (1980-82) is a cybernetic project, an electro-acoustic composition... The word Tektra, like the music, was derived from a series of processes which Kayn applied to the alphabet. It is a synthetic word, the total of the first letters of the separate parts..." Realisation: Institute of Sonology, University of Utrecht, Holland. Comparing this release to [r853412] and [r21224587], it appears tracks 1-3 and 3-4 have been switched. 1-3 is actually 'Rhenit' and 3-4 is actually 'Etoral'. Some tracks may have been slightly shortened.
