We just wanted to make a record. But Things have a way of gettin' out of hand. Like the bar-b-que we had in Amarillo.
IT WAS REALLY SOMETHING - so we decided to write a song about it. And then we decided to pay good money to Windchime Productions for a record. Well, it turned out so good that radio stations all over Texas started playing it. And we decided we better have an album, which is what you got in your hands right now. It's a bunch of songs about human events and emotions in the great country music tradition, including the story about the bar-b-que. Hope you like it. ~Jay Riley
