Duration for "Truth Hits Everybody" is not listed on the release. Sleeve title has "The Beds Too Big Without You", label has the correct "The Bed's Too Big Without You". The discs are presented in a clear plastic 6-pocket 'roll-fold' wallet, with a flip-over 'hanger' flap containing a title card. Each single includes a cardboard sheet with lyrics on one side and a photo of The Police on the other, contained in its own individual paper picture sleeve. The image of the 6th sleeve "The Bed's Too Big Without You" is used as the frontispiece of the package - which is a previously unreleased mono issue. The wallet is stickered with a silver roundel, with dark blue print and six pack cat# "AMPP 6001". Original sound recording made by A & M Records Ltd. © 1980 A & M Records Ltd. None of the singles presented as cataloged for this issue were officially released as standalone versions. Six Packs were also exported to be released in Japan. Those packs where facilitated with a sticker with cat. nr. AY-101-1006 with Japanese text in purple on yellow print. The content however is the same as in the UK release. (see image # 2). Additional runout information: [All variants]: Runouts are hand etched apart from the CBS stampers. [Variant 2:] - Sides C and D: the O is stamped over an etched L, which would match the matrix on the label - Sides E and F: the L is stamped over an etched O, which would match the matrix on the label. - Side L: the ✱ is covering up an A and the B is an amended 2, so it would have read '.../E-A-2'. [Variant 3:] - Sides C and D: the TB is intertwined. - Sides C and D: the 2 is underlined. - Side L: identical to variant 2. Unlike variants 1 and 2, which are predominantly pressed by CBS (single #6 being the anomaly), variant 3 shows a number of pressing plants used, those being: [l553982], [l441177] and [l265380]. It is known that other variants exist which possess different combinations of these pressing plants as responsible for the individual singles in the pack. Furthermore, whilst the singles in this release are described as 'blue translucent', the individual singles range from transparent, through semi-opaque to solid block colour and in slightly different shades of blue, dependent on the vinyl composition used by the actual pressing plant.
