Early multicolour copies of this LP — including two sleeve variants (one with Yorktown box logo on front, one without) — share the same runouts as the white-label edition: YT-40001 (crossed out) → YT-50001 (hand-corrected) This demonstrates that all early Yorktown pressings (white label and multicolour alike) derive from the same lacquer, contradicting claims of separate “first pressings” or “remastered” lacquers. Earlier web sources (Capitol6000, Popsike correspondence attributed to band members, etc.) state that the white-label copies were pressed after an initial multicolour run. These accounts refer to the later, more standardized multicolour edition, not to the earliest multicolour pressings documented here. No multicolour copy with “Distributed by Arc Sound” has ever been documented. All known authentic copies, early and late, still show Capitol Records (Canada) Ltd. as distributor.
