Recorded live at the Crescendo Club, December 1954.. Tracks 1, 3, 4, 6 to 8, 12 to 15, 17, 18, 20 were originally released in August, 1955, on Decca Records' subsidiary Coral label, as Gene Norman Presents: Mel Torme At The Crescendo (Coral 57012). Tracks 2, 5, 9 to 11, 16, 19 are being issued for the first time. Digital transfers and audio enhancement at MCA Recording Studios. This reissue has been prepared by the transfer to digital tape and re-equalization of the original analog tapes. Post-Production on reissue at The Review Room/NYC. Post-Production monitoring performed using Acoustic Energy AE1 Speakers.
