Примечания

One of the many uses of the Moog Electronic Music Synthesizer is in the simulation of traditional musical instruments. In this recording, the Synthesizer is programmed to produce tone colors reminiscent of krummhorns, kortholts, and bible regals and is used in various combinations with traditional instruments. The contrapuntal accompaniments and instrumentation of the English Country Dance "Barn Elm" and the dances from Arbeau's Orchésographie are the original work of Richard Schulze, who also composed the Ricercare on Side 2, Band 2. The musical performance in its entirety is under the musical direction of Theodora Schulze. This album was recorded in the Busch-Reisinger Museum at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, and in the Chapel of the Middlesex School, Concord, Massachusetts. The Virginal was built by Hugh Gough and was loaned to The Telemann Society for this recording by the Concord Academy. The Quartz Glass Bell Synthesizer was loaned by Gerhardt Finkenbeiner of Waltham, Massachusetts, who is the inventor of the device. Synthesizer programming by Richard Schulze. Producer: Eric Larson. Recorded with Neumann microphones and Ampex AG-440 tape recorder. Audio Consultants: Scott Kent, Wilmington, Massachusetts; Klaus Peter, Brussels, Belgium. Disc Mastering: Chris Grassi. Shorepak-U.S. Patent No. 3,301,467 Front cover states "an AMPHION Gold Seal Stereo release". Top right of front cover shows Gold Seal DL 9110. Spine text says Amphion Stereo Gold Seal DL 9110.
