Примечания

This here LP was conceived and recorded over on the corner of 26th street and Virgil in San Francisco. Many times in that room a gentle blue light might be seen cascading down from the orb of china paper that illuminated the otherwise bright green walls. Additional glows were to be seen from flickering VU's (those that still worked) aboard the trusty Tascam 388, quite a step-up from the hissing dragon 4track device. Alas these are gentle ballads mostly and I hope you will enjoy them. I'd like to thank the co-conspirators on this collection of tunes- Rob Knevels who co-wrote the st. tropez mimicry "please visit soon" that's hymn playing the dancin- mouse-jittery-slide geetar. He also snapped that nice picture as as we were headed out to Cafe Venice to visit Fred, Rami and the locals there who indulge in fine coffees and world famous hummus. A more favorite place I shall not find til I'm nestled in the bosom of my ternal sweetheart. Joe Byrnes from the fine band Broken Horse plays the drums quite nicely and anarchic restraint on "perpetual night". The Clouds rolled in for a take on "mt. fuji", they being Mike Trujillo on bass clarinet Ragi Dindial (libra) on drums and Seotty Powers on bass guitar. This was recorded live to 2 track by the sonie janitor this time around, Kevin Ink at the Studio That Time Forgot on Capp Street in San Francisco. Kevin also played upright bass on "my silver line" drums and cordless drill on "mean marianne and was the everpresent dial spinner, dot connector, space dad, engineer or what have you. Thank You! Brian Martin at Excello in Brooklyn helped out early on and recorded my bass playing on "are you electric".
