As Days Get Shorter

This album is dedicated to places, feelings, moments, and whatever tomorrow brings. This album is inspired by those things. And by feelings, I don't mean "happy" or "sad". I am talking about the feeling you might get during a warm night in the fall or springtime, or the way the sun feels on the first warm day of the year, after a long cold winter. These things have meaning to me, and while I will never adequately capture them in song, they were the inspiration. In fact, each one of these songs has one or more places, feelings, or moments connected to it, in my mind. I guess the point is that because I attached memories to these songs, they carry a special meaning for me. I am not trying to get the meaning across, because I think the sounds can (hopefully) evoke different feelings or memories in different people. I hope it reminds you of the moments in life that make it worth living, because thats what it does for me. - sharp 9/26/2006
