Track 23 on Disc 2 is an unlisted Bonus Track Moses For Christmas by Tom Hall is read by Alan Moore Side One tracks 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 17, 20, 22, 24 Side Two tracks 1, 3, 5, 8, 10 ,12, 14, 16, 19, 21 Tom Hall was a magnificent tour de force, a riot of tartan and romper room psychedelic clothing, a troubadour, a poet, a gum chewing, snuff sniffing minstrel of bardic proportions. With a tremendous thirst and a healthy dislike of the "X Factor" generation, he took them quite literally with a pinch of snuff. This collection of songs features performances of some of Tom's work performed by people who knew him, his family, friends and fellow musicians, all of whom gave their time and talent for no pay. When we decided to make this CD, we tried to involve as many of the musicians and performers that had worked with Tom over the years as we could. We knew it would be logistically impossible to include everyone, what with the large amount of past band members, studio availability, people's schedules and the physical amount of time on the CD, so there are several notable absences on this collection of songs. We sincerely hope we have not insulted or slighted any of them. There are other people, like the amazing Dave Mudge and Peter (The Duke) Watkins who have moved on from this realm. Be assured that they are all on this CD in spirit, if not actuality. Tom Hall was the real deal, and I'm glad to say he was a friend of mine. Curtis
