Recording and production took place between April 2010 and December 2013, at various studios in London, with long periods of downtime between recording sessions while the bands style was formed. "No Way Out" was the first song to be written in 2010, and "Disappear With The Night" was the final song to be added to the release in the final months of 2013. The EP is an introduction to Aelius and their unique style - building from influences across the board. While "Echoes..." shows their heavier, post-rock style, "No Way Out" showcases more of an Electronic style. "Walls" sits comfortably in between, while "Disappear With The Night" brings a more cinematic feel to the EP.
