The concept of the project is deceptively simple - MdCL armed with MPC drum machine and keyboards is joined by a rotating cast of soul, jazz, hip hop and beat-artists coming together in the spirit of total improvisation. Each and every session, the live show is a totally unique and one-off experience for both the musicians and the audience alike. From the click of the MPC as MdCL builds beats from scratch, entire productions are improvised live on stage.
