Issued in a standard clear tray jewel case with a twelve page booklet containing credits and photos. Initial copies had a transparent sticker to the front of the case with orange text: “Classic David Bowie 2002 / With 12 new recordings “Slow Burn” / 5082222003”. Other copies may have a blue and red sticker to the front of the case with white text: "Panasonic MERCURY MUSIC PRIZE an album of the year" signifying an approxomate retail date around the September nominations or thereafter. Rear of case has "Sony Music" embossed in bottom left corner.
