Kiss 90 is a non-profit community radio station which relies on funding, subscriptions and sponsorship for its survival. The Kiss philosophy is to program 100% dance music, mixed and presented by Melbourne's most respected DJ's. Kiss 90 made it's debuton air July 1, 1994. As an aspirant broadcaster, Kiss 90 is allocated 90 days per year until a decision by the Australian Broadcasting Authority on a full-time license is made in 1999. Kiss 90 Melbourne has become a world-wide phenomenon - the most notable being London's most popular and successful radio station Kiss 100 FM. This compilation is an attempt to show the diversity of the Melbourne underground dance scene as seen in that program.
