Packaged in a slim double jewel case with clear tray and a photo-illustrated 16-page "flip-book" booklet that includes credits, notes, release information, and tracklists. Track durations are not printed on the release. Limited edition of 2,500 copies. Combines some of the tracks from [r1462561] with a second disc containing rare and unreleased material. The 6 tracks from [r=1462561] included on the [r427600] re-release as "bonus tracks" are omitted, presumably for contractual reasons. Track 1-4 is "Lies of Mercy" from the album "[m=89346]" (1983). Track 1-10 is from the 12" "[m=488407]" (1987). Track 2-4: Dedicated to Alain Lefebvre. Recorded in Belgium for Michel Duval. Track 2-5: The essential Mancunian Summer, captured on DAT. Track 2-7: Starring a very expensive Bosandorfer piano played on a very cheap synth. Track 2-8: An attempt to disguise voices through the S.P.X. 90 mk I. Track 2-9: Played through an ancient Space Echo, therefore hiss is compulsory. Track 2-10: Another Michael Duval project. Track 2-13: Voices and flute played on a keyboard. Track 2-14: Played on a Yamaha owned by the recipients of the tune. Track 2-15: Bruce's daughter's birthday tune. Track 2-19: Inspired by an Orson Welles interview.
