There are two documented label variants for this 1966 issue of Paperback Writer. One has a 'normal' font and has the label matrix indented compared to the the Publishing/Rights Society text (NORTHERN SONGS, NCB) above it. it also has a large Ⓟ1966, the Ⓟ being taller than the date. The other variant has a thinner 'tall' font and has the label matrix exactly left aligned with the the Publishing/Rights Society text (NORTHERN SONGS, NCB) above it. The publishing date has a smaller ℗ - ℗1966 it being smaller than the date. This release has the 'normal' font, indented label matrix and the large Ⓟ1966. Note also the increased indent of Ⓟ1966 on the B side compared to the A side. This has been documented in 'Beatles For Sale On Parlophone Records' by Bruce Spizer and Frank Daniels. Ⓟ1966.
