Front and back cover title this 10" as "a presentation of progressive jazz", but the label title is "A CONCERT IN PROGRESSIVE JAZZ" A reissue of CD-79: 1948, 4-10", 78rpm album, and a reissue of CDF-172: Sept. 1949, 7" 45rpm. This release is not the 1950 issue of H-172 with "Hollywood" text beneath "Capitol Records" logo, used by the company until August 1951.. Release date is confirmed by the stampers' mastering dates, 5 51 and 6 51 and by the lack of the logo identifier.
