This is the very first pressing of the US promo release., The track listings on back sleeve, and side 2 label mistakenly list "Necromancer" as track B4, however a different track "Giant Squid" actually appears on side B4. The only place "Giant Squid" is referenced is in the album credits on the back. These copies were quickly recalled, and all subsequent copies were pressed from a re-cut side 2 lacquer with the correct track "Necromancer" on it. . Copies with the alternate track can be identified by "M2" stamped in the matrix of side 2 runout.. Recorded at Trident Studios, London July 31 / August 1, 1969; except "Afterwards", recorded in one afternoon in January 1969 at Marquee Studios, London.
