The Prehensile Tales (Solo Archives 1977-1981)

2-11,14,15,20 recorded and produced between 1977 and 1979 at Kidmore End Rd, Reading, Berkshire, on Akai 4000 DS [sound on sound] by Blake. 17,21 were recorded 1980/81 at Gatestone Rd., Gypsy Hill, London (also on Akai 4000 DS). 13 was recorded in a 16 track in Denmark St., London, November, 1981. 12,18,19 were recorded on a Teac 4 track in Stanmore Rd., Richmond, Surrey and at Tanglewood, Welwyn, Herts in 1981. 1 was recorded at Guildford, Surrey and was co-produced by David Mellor, who mastered and, where necessary, 'stereofied' the tracks. Digital re-mastering and added 'oomph' by Denis Blackham at Porky's Mastering, December, 1990. Tracks 1-10 were originally released on Karl Blake's "The Prehensile Tales" LP on Normal, Germany in 1983. Sleeve illustration - Danielle Dax, 1983.
