Lithophonia

From the liner notes: “The four movements of Lithophonia are comprised of material that I recorded over a six-month period in early 2003, in various remote locations of the old Highland General Hospital building in Oakland, California. “All sound sources occurred naturally or spontaneously; I neither elicited nor triggered any of them. “Equipment included the Rode NT4 stereo microphone, Marantz CDR 3000 portable digital recorder, and a desktop computer. “No synthesizers or other musical instruments were used.” CDr with a printed label affixed on it, released in a standard clear jewel case including a four page booklet (pages 2-3 of which are blank). Limited to 100 numbered copies.
