Примечания

2012 remastered and retitled release of the 1967 album "The Great Piano Hits Holloway Style". From the CD sleeve: Laurie Holloway, that most talented musician, performs for you his own interpretation of twelve of the greatest hits ever written for the keyboard. To give this stereo production extra force, a Steinway piano was used for one track, and a Bechstein for the other. As a result, the two tracks are of a slightly different character which adds to the interest of Holloway's performance. "The Warsaw Concerto", composed by Richard Addinsell, was a phenomenal success as the wartime film, "Dangerous Moonlight". "September In The Rain" is the melody which made the great English pianist, George Shearing, world famous. "Near You" originally recorded by Frances Craig, is one of the best-selling records of our time, and "Cast Your Fate To The Wind" was a world-wide success when recorded by John Schroeder's Sounds Orchestra. "The Dream Of Olwen" was written for a film called "While I Live". However, the theme music became so popular that the film was re-named "The Dream Of Olwen". Laurie Holloway plays these, and all the other great melodies on this CD, with all the emotion and skill at his command. This album is one you will be sure to enjoy, for, as well as displaying his remarkable musical ability, Laurie Holloway has chosen his twelve melodies well. Each one has an emotive quality which will make you want to listen to it again and again.
