1st US pressing, most easily identified by the lack of a bar code on the back cover. Issued with a flexi-disc, and a 24 page newsprint booklet insert which has lyrics, credits, and art. Also included was an Alternative Tentacles Records merchandise insert / order form. The merchandise inserts for copies distributed in 1987 showed the available releases going up to either VIRUS 54 (less common) or VIRUS 58 (most copies). The back side of this A.T. merchandise insert may or may not have No More Censorship Defense Fund information printed on it. This No More Censorship info is also reported to have been issued as a separate insert. Copies in covers without bar codes were also distributed in 1989, with a single-sided merchandise insert that has images for VIRUS 66, 67, 72, 73, and 74. It's not clear whether these copies were remaining stock from the 1987 pressing, with updated merchandise inserts, or if they represent a separate pressing in which the covers, booklets, flexis and vinyl are all identical to the 1987 pressing.
