LIMITED EDITION – COLORFUL VINYL – 150 PIECES The forgotten pearl of Polish synth-pop. Film music written in front of the Tri-City duo Electronic Division – assisted by additional friends – is in no way inferior to the masters of the genre, captivating with the excellent sound of synthesizers from the era and interesting melodies. The whole is illustrated by the film that is Poland from the mid-80's in a nutshell. Clothes from boutiques, holiday cottages and ubiquitous paneling. The music for the film “Manager” was to be written by the band Kombi. When it turned out that the group’s concert commitments would prevent this project, Jacek Sylwin offered to cooperate with the young Tri-City duo Electronic Division. Krzysztof Janik and Robert Usewicz stood up to the task, preparing a fresh-sounding illustration based on excellent sounds (mainly) of analogue synthesizers. The whole was supported by the lines of the bass guitar Marek Zienkowski, and Zdzisław “Bizon” Kowalski – musicians of the Tri-City Jeep band. The lyrics used in the film were written by Anna Sawicka. Some of the themes were used on their debut album, but the original soundtrack did not see a presentation outside the film itself. “The Manager” appears for the first time on the album, remastered from the original tapes from the WFDiF archive. The album presents a set of instrumental recordings from the film and songs sung by Zdzisław “Bizon” by Kowalski and Krzysztof Janik. The material is also available on a CD and a limited-edition cassette tape.
