DOBBS was recently named as the new resident in the 3rd room at Elements, Red Jerry's successful tech / progressive night which recently moved to Turnmills in London. He will be playing Spacey House + Trippy Breaks and has already lined up King of Spin, plus Bedrock new boy Jonathan Lisle as guests. He also has a live singer and St Germain's Saxophonist lined up to play live over the DJing. Since moving to London DOBBS has mixed 4 mix albums, and hosted many underground Prog + Breaks nights like The Big Blue with Danny Howells, Banter with Jonathan Lisle (Bedrock's new warm up DJ) and various nights with Rennie Pilgrim. He has also released a number of records including 'Itchycarloop' as The Escapist, which has recently championed by Mary Anne Hobbs on Radio 1 (UK). Dobbs is the head of Vision Promotions, a CLUB / RADIO / PRESS promotions company which he set up just under three years ago to bridge the gap between underground and commercial music promotion. vision have worked with range of interesting dance acts andlabels including MOBY, CASS & SLIDE, SUMSONIC, TOKO, DRAGONFLY, AUTOMATIC and NICK HOLDER, FLYING RHINO etc etc
