Rubber Soul

LP originally released in US by Capitol Records in 1965 as [url=https://www.discogs.com/release/2521466]ST 2442[/url] with different running order. "Drive My Car," "Nowhere Man," "What Goes On" and "If I Needed Someone" were omitted (to be released in 1966 on [r=379388]), and "I've Just Seen A Face" and "It's Only Love" were added from the [url=https://www.discogs.com/release/2096670]UK version of Help![/url]. They had been dropped from the [url=https://www.discogs.com/release/4477708]US version[/url] in favor of selections from the orchestral soundtrack. The versions of "I'm Looking Through You" and "The Word" were early mixes from the those that appeared on the UK release. When Rubber Soul was [url=https://www.discogs.com/release/4079432]released on CD in 1987[/url], it used the original UK track listing but with a stereo digital remix by George Martin and artwork derived from the original US edition. Released in a tri-fold glossy gatefold digifile and with a 16-page booklet with historical and recording notes, photos and credits. This remastered album has been created from the original stereo digital master tapes from George Martin's CD mixes made in 1986.
