Ghostwritten (Instrumentals 2018-2022)

Label Notes: This collection was completed over a four-year period from September 2018 to August 2022 in the mountain villages of Andalusia, Spain. Vazz began four decades ago, in 1982, as a duo in Glasgow, Scotland with the vocalist Anna Howson and multi-instrumentalist Hugh Small. They recorded three singles and a mini-LP 'Your Lungs & Your Tongues' which was re-issued in 2021 by American label Numero Group. Small dropped out of the music scene for two decades until 2010 when he began recording again and re-inventing Vazz as an instrumental project. The Belgian labels Forced Nostalgia and STROOM have issued numerous vinyl and CD collections over the past decade. In 2021, Small released a collaborative LP with Los Angeles saxophonist Brian Allen Simon (aka Anenon). 'The Side I Never See' was released on the Amsterdam label Melody As Truth.
