Urbs

All music composed at Onix studio, Barcelona, 2011. Most of the field recordings were obtained using an iPod Touch, inside churches, train stations, subway platforms and on the streets and bars of different European cities. It also contains sounds from Grand Central Station in New York City. "The individual, when isolated, is not self-sufficing, and therefore he is like a part in relation to the whole. Generally, music does not seem to be related to noise. Due to the fragility of its aesthetic dimension, urban noise, in its context common things, seems to be inexpressive. In the production of this work I try to merge elements from a punctual approach, discrete in elements and discourses...
