Original issue with block font for The Clash logo on cover (later pressings used an "oriental"-style lettering). Issued on Epic white promo labels with "Demonstration Not For Sale" at bottom. "T" etched in runouts denotes [l=Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Terre Haute], pressing. Remainder of runouts stamped and etched. Plating variation, with [l=Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Pitman], origination, denoted by small "P" stamped in runouts. Some copies with gold stamp on back cover, at top-left: FOR PROMOTION ONLY Ownership Reserved By CBS Sale Is Unlawful Some copies with "Demonstration Not For Sale" promo timing strip on front or back cover of jacket.
