With Zeum (Nedersaksisch for "seven"), Bökkers presents their seventh studio album. Recorded in the iconic Wisseloord Studios and the legendary Cabine Down Below in the forests of Lemele, with guitarist Jim Zwinselman at the controls. The album bursts with stories: about old cars, wild nights in Amsterdam, strange birds from the village, girls from Twente, and of course about what makes life here so beautiful — parties in the "tent", together on the floor. And amid all this rowdiness, there are a few unexpectedly sensitive ballads that knock you off your feet. Yes, that's rock 'n' roll too.
