Hyperion The Watcher

This album consists of recent recordings. Thematically it is classified as cosmic paganism and draws its theme from the Hellenic myth of Hyperion. The music combines many genres from ambient, cosmic music, minimal, nu jazz, mystical, and melodic. Hyperion is the Titan God of "heavenly light" and watchfulness, son of Gaia and Uranus. In Hellenic mythology, Hyperion is one of the twelve Titan children of Gaia (Earth) and Uranus (Sky). With his sister, the Titaness Theia, Hyperion fathered Helios (Sun), Selene (Moon) and Eos (Dawn). Here a part of the Orphic Hymn mentioning Hyperion.
