The recordings were made in the spring of 1970 in three areas of the Kuba kingdom: at Mushenge, the royal capital; in the chieftancy of Mbelo in Ngeende country; and in the villages to the south-east. Made in France, ACRACEM (on labels). No artists are credited by name on the release. Gatefold cover with 8 page attached booklet.
