Live at The Factory, Manchester 18 May 79. For the first time – pour le premier fois – zum ersten Mal Throbbing Gristle live on record Live from Death Factory Limited edition of 50 copies. Cut directly from the IRC 20 live cassette [r=814339] including the complete material from the original tape. Numbered by stamp in a small white box on the back of the sleeve, as well as on the 8-by-12-inch sized xeroxed insert that was included with the majority, but not all copies. Regarding the official/unofficial status of this LP, Throbbing Gristle have stated the following in their official discography (inside booklet of their [r=328148] 1982 box-set): „If someone produces a new record that did not previously exist like the Death Records L.P. […] excellent production, extremely rare. This bootleg is recommended and is sanctioned in retrospect by TG themselves. Wish more copies were around. Buy if you can."
