This release has NOT been sourced from any original master tape but from a stock vinyl copy of the original Leathür LP. This procedure is called a 'needle drop' and Hip-O-Select has confirmed that the same master source used for the box set "Music To Crash Your Car By Volume 1" in which there's a producers note: 'The master source used for the original mix of The Too Fast For Love album was the vinyl LP, as no tapes survive. Though we strove to minimize the surface noise as much as possible, in the interest of preserving the songs' fidelity, some residual noise is audible'.
