Searching for Beauty (with Gilles Furtwängler)

Searching for beauty is a book/album project resulting from ChâteauGhetto's 2017 residency in Johannesburg with their poet friend Gilles Furtwängler, as well as the many artists, musicians and poets-turned-friends they met there.This book comes with a Bandcamp download link although listening is also free on the Bandcamp link. This is a project of spoken-word and poetry interwoven with field recordings and ambient music. The whole suggests a wandering through the streets of Johannesburg, a tragedy, a certain theatricality, hence the idea of the cinematographic form.
