Atelier Silencio

Atelier Silencio is the first LP by YDVST, released via Shimmering Moods Records: a small label from Netherlands specialized in ambient music and soundscapes. The album has been released on digital and physical formats, with a limited edition of 35 CDs, hand made and numbered. The artists states: "Silence is an uneasy word. Certainly, is not the absence of music, but the presence of something deeper: a communion between those who are listening and the sound. Every vibration matters, every scratch is an ambient disruption. The album, which translates to “Workroom Silence”, is an invitation from the artist to explore a universe of soundscapes, subtle drones, and melodies that were created at night. YDVST conceived this piece of work as a film in slow- motion; as a collection of visual images, where memories and non-existent landscapes seem to blur. Atelier Silencio is an opportunity for observation. A moment to reflect on who we are."
