Limited number release of 100 Thank you for patronizing La Palma's first library record. These coastal soundscapes are intended to evoke moods of a relaxed afternoon, romance and adventure in a far away place. This record was composed and performed in the first iteration of the Last Place Records studio in a 14 x 14" garage in North Loop, Austin Texas, primarily using a single Coles 4038, multi-tracked over the spring of 2023, later mixed in an apartment in Louisville, Kentucky. Composed, Recorded & Mixed by Chris Befeld Drums, Percussion, Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar, Classical Guitar, Wurlitzer and Mellotron performed by Chris Befeld Trumpet written by and performed by Parker Keyes This collection only exists in the world on these 100 discs, in an effort of protest against commoditization and devaluation of recorded music in the modern age.
