About having insecurities, that can highlight your worst character flaws and make you question yourself over and over. But in the end, we all have such faults, and nobody is as perfect as a circle. Following up their appraised debut Do You Ever Wonder What Comes Next?, it builds further upon the same musical fundament while simultaneously exploring new creative paths. Their signature fine weave of indie rock stays central, but gets accompanied by groove- and R’n B influences inTested Waters and title track Flaws of a Circle. The massive, rocking Black Beauty Race is vocalist Nina’s personal narrative of being of mixed race and growing up between two worlds. For Flaws of a Circle Loupe has again teamed up with producer Arne van Petegem Moss, Styrofoam) and mixer Beau Sorenson (Death Cab For Cutie, Sparklehorse). The EP will be released on May 3rd via Excelsior and Sinnbus.
