Примечания

Come is black die-cut sleeve with front and rear image and sticker. Incidental info: A1: CemBlex (CEM rmx) This is a remix of the Lowfish track FatBlex. The drum parts are all loops from the Concussor. All of the weird noises/atmospheres (including the whole intro) were created by layering various soundscapes we did @ CEM. I think a lot of it was Arp 2600. The rest of the sequenced synth lines were done back in Toronto. For the 'spotters: bassline is MiniKorg 700s, leadline is Korg MS-20, vocoder Roland SVC-350. A2: Power Failure Contructed entirely with sounds and loops made @ CEM, except for the pad at the end which is something digital. B1: Built-In Microphone (CEM rmx) This is a remix of the Solvent track. It combines elements from the original track with percussion loops from the Concussor, and a new bassline that was contructed out of chopping up a bass sequence from the Arp 2500. B2: Close Encounters This is an edit of one of our live jams, with me on the Arp 2500 with it's 10-step sequencer (the main bassline, switching an oscillator range switch to get the "chord changes") and all of the squiggly noises coming from Gregory on the EMS. The weird noise/dying-goose atmosphere at the end is also something Gregory made on the EMS. And the bass madness at the end is part of a sequence I made with the PPG synth/sequencer combo. The drums were added in Toronto: Roland TR-808 with the pattern-length set to 10-steps, to work with the Arp 10-step sequence. B3: Test Sequence The main sequence is the PPG synth/sequencer combo - opening and closing one of the knobs (they weren't in English so I'm not sure what it was exactly) brought in that higher pitched element -- it was something like a filter sweep but not a normal LPF. This synth was very unstable and I couldn't figure out what it was doing at all half the time. The controls made little sense... but the sound was great and just fiddling with the knobs cluelessly got us some cool results, reminding me a bit of my earliest days of experimentation with my Jupiter-6 (my first proper synth). The noises in the background came from the CEM sessions, while the other sequence that's introduced was added in Toronto -- a Roland System 100 (101 synth) sequenced by a Frostwave Fat Controller analog sequencer.
