Teardrops & Blindspots

With two EP releases behind her from respectively 2020 and 2021, ELBA is now ready with her debut album 'Teardrops & Blind Spots'. With performances at Roskilde Festival, SPOT Festival, 2 singles in rotation on Danish radio P3 and a lot of other media coverage in the bag, ELBA is one of the upcoming artists to keep a close eye on. The album was produced by Søren Buhl Lassen (drummer and producer in Blaue Blume) and was written together with Asger 'Guldimund' Nordtorp and Astrid Cordes. 'Teardrops & Blindspots' offers both challenging alternative pop productions as well as clear ballads, and the album's theme touches on the many challenges that especially younger generations suffer from after having been socially disconnected for a long period, when their primary life has played out on home screens. There are songs about feeling inferior and jealous, as well as being light at the end of the tunnel on songs like the folk- popped 'Greenhouse' and the brilliant pop single 'New Beginnings'.
