Nero’s ex‐Gladiators, Micky Jones and Tommy Brown traversed the 1960s, engineering a lion’s share of potential pop winners for French singing stars Johnny Hallyday, Ronnie Bird, Françoise Hardy, and Sylvie Vartan. They also indulged in a chunk of their own pop fantasy as State of Micky and Tommy, The J&B, Nimrod and other flirting guises. The duo made their names in Paris, at the height of Ye Ye beat and psychedelia before higher echelons called on Micky Jones to indulge in some 80s metal excess. Together for the first time are the collected works of Micky and Tommy who would jointly spawn a minor flurry of exciting pop perfection with kaleidoscopic vision.
