Thunderdome '98 - Hardcore Rules The World

An unauthorized Belgian remake. Housed in a cardboard sleeve. Produced 10 years after the official release [url=http://www.discogs.com/DJ-E-Rick-Tactic-Thunderdome-98-Hardcore-Rules-The-World/release/164619]07002248[/url] On 15 September 2008, to be precise, as a detail on the inside of the cardsleeve unveils (see the image gallery). The cardsleeve of the unofficial replica has much darker artwork. In contrast, the print on the disc is much lighter, a grey instead of the official black print. Further, the disc was pressed not by Dureco, but by Disco-Press. A Belgian company which did not press the discs of any Thunderdome title whatsoever. Not before this remake was made, and not after. It's artwork is different in more ways than it's color only. The letters of the main title, "Thunderdome '98", don't run parallel with the edges of the cover; they are uneven. Also note that the artwork is a lot closer to the left edge of the frontcover than on the official 1999 release. Nowhere does any detail on the release indicate that this is a repress of the official 1999 release. All codes, written details, and presentation are the same. No new ID&T-logo, no year of production on the exterior parts, no new barcode, new catalog number, nor any other detail of that matter anywhere to be found.
