It is understood the release of this record was halted because of copyright issues, and most copies were destroyed. Most surviving copies have "DJ/Media Copy" stickers on the sleeve and side one label, and were sent to press and radio prior to the planned release date. Sleeve reads MUSIC FROM THE SOUNDTRACK OF THE FILM (caps in very small type) Band on the Run (in large type). The second catalogue number appears only on the white labels. A double album version by The Tim Gaze Band (with no J.J. Cale tracks) was released in 2004. [r2183317]
